On 25th August, our school’s welcome meeting on teaching work of the new semester was held at noon in the Room G514 at Jiangning Campus. Prof. Wu Chunyong, vice dean of our school, Prof. Sun Minjie, vice dean of the Meng Mudi Academy, members of our school’s teaching supervisory group and heads of departments attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Prof. Wu conveyed the deployment of the new semester work released by the Academic Affairs Office at CPU. He also proposed the requirements for teaching of the new semester. First, a good and smooth opening required that all faculty should well prepare for the fall semester. The routine mechanism of teaching relied on everyone’s efforts. Secondly, the laboratory safety inspections should be carried out regularly and rigorously to comprehensively improve the level of laboratory safety management. Thirdly, the school should strengthen the organization of teaching and management to ensure the seamless operation. Further, he summarized our school’s teaching work in the first half of the year and highlighted the key work in this semester including major construction, curriculum resources, teaching team, management system, talent cultivation, teaching reform, teaching supervision and so on.
This meeting has played a positive role in standardizing the teaching management of our school, deepening the classroom teaching reform and promoting the teaching quality.
