    2. Representative Research Achievements

    (1) Temporo-spatial analysis of protein conformation

    Transient crosslinking mass spectrometry enables the capture of protein intermediate conformers and high-resolution structural analysis. Time-resolved crosslinking strategy is developed for sequential analysis of protein conformational transitions.

    (2) Drug target discovery-screening-binding mode evaluation

    Development of native-denatured exchange mass spectrometry acquisition approach enables the identification of specific ligand-protein interactions. The coupling with chromatographic separation expands the application for probing specific ligand-protein interactions in biological matrices. A Fe3O4 nanoparticle-based approach is developed for drug-target screening in biofluids, which is beneficial for capturing target proteins with low abundance and greatly enhances the sensitivity and accuracy of target discovery.
