A team led by Ying Minghua, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xianju Pharmaceutical) visited the School of Pharmacy on Dec 2. Li Zhiyu, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Deputy Secretary of CPC of this school, and Directors of departments, research centers and some professors welcomed the team and held a meeting in Room G514 of the Comprehensive R&D Building on Jiangning Campus.
Dean Li firstly delivered a warm welcome to the arrival of the team from Xianju Pharmaceutical followed by his detailed introduction to the history, discipline development, scientific research, faculty and talent cultivation of the school. He hoped that a deeper exchange between the two parties would certainly advance industry-academia-research further. Ying Minghua, Deputy General Manager, also introduced the organizational structure, team building and drug development of Xianju Pharmaceutical in detail. He proposed to achieve complementary advantages and a mutually beneficial vision of both parties by deepening their cooperation.
In addition, all participants discussed topics on talent cultivation and potential R & D cooperation projects of new drug development. They also reached preliminary cooperation intentions on the establishment of undergraduate practical teaching base, joint base for Professional Master Degree postgraduates and joint construction of steroids drug research laboratory.
