Practice is a core professional ability for students in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Our school encourages students to actively participate in extracurricular innovative research programmes in conjunction with the programmes and experimental centres provided by the school, including the National Pharmacy Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centre, the National Pharmacy Simulation Experimental Teaching Centre, the National Innovative Talent Cultivation Pilot Zone, the Innovative Experimental Programme for University Students, and the Experimental Bilingual Teaching Programme. Students are welcomed to participate in these programmes and centers, under the guidance of the National Teaching Team. Our achievements and continuous investment in these projects has set a solid foundation for us to play an exemplary role for the reform of experimental teaching in China.
Undergraduate laboratories in our school cover more than 6,000 square metres, equipped with advanced instrumentation such as liquid-mass spectrometer and multimedia experimental teaching facilities. These fixed assets are worth up to RMB 80 million. Over the years, the school has trained tens of thousands of professionals with strong hands-on skills. The Construction and Implementation of New System of Pharmacy Comprehensive Practice Teaching submitted by our school summarises years of practice teaching experience. This application has won the 2nd Prize of National Teaching Achievement in 2014 and the Grand Prize of Jiangsu Teaching Achievement in 2013.
